Public Roller Disco Sessions
- Thursdays 5pm to 7pm.
- Fridays 7pm to 9.30pm.
- Saturday 2pm to 4pm.
- Sundays 2pm to 4pm.
- Admission Charge £6.
- Skate Hire Charge £2.
- Cloakroom Charge £1.
Children’s Birthday Parties
All you have to do is bring the kids and the CAKE!
- The price includes:
- The cost of admission to the skating rink.
- The cost of the skate hire.
- The cost of a hot meal & drink.
- A complimentary party bag (contains a few sweets).
- Your party will be allocated a private room (subject to availability).
- Minimum of 10 children (No Maximum).
- Our smallest hire skate is an infant size 8.
- Thursdays 5pm – 7pm.
- Fridays 7pm – 9:30pm.
- Saturday 2pm-4pm.
- Sundays 2pm-4pm.
Group Books
- The cost of a group booking is £7 per skater including skate hire.
- Group Bookings can be made during any public roller disco session:
- Thursdays 5pm to 7pm.
- Fridays 7pm to 9.30pm.
- Saturday 2pm to 4pm.
- Sunday 2pm to 4pm.
Exclusive Private Hire
Hire the skating rink (subject to availability) for your own exclusive private roller disco party, bring a DJ or provide your own. Spotify playlist. Catering can be provided at an extra cost. Our coffee shop and licensed bar will be open throughout your booking. Please contact us if you have an enquiry in respect of a roller hockey booking or a roller derby booking or a boxing event or a charity event or a corporate event
- £250 (maximum 50 attendees).
- additional attendees over 50 are charged at £5 each.
- Skate hire costs £2 per pair.

ABOUT US
The Skate Central arena is located in the steel city of Sheffield and opened its doors
to the public in the summer of 2005.The premises were formally the home of
the “Silver Blades” ice rink which operated in the city from 1968 to 2005. Skate
Central hosts weekly public roller disco skating sessions, children’s birthday parties,
roller hockey and roller derby leagues and we regularly host music concerts and
professional/amateur boxing events.
